Rig #2 update
The gyros are Arcamax that Bob Parks was nice enough
to let me try. There is a place to plug in a computer, but
like you said all you need is to push the 4 buttons on
the display to change all kinds of stuff.
That big batch of red is where I painted
Rockmans newest Isobar.
These are the best inflight pics I have seen to date!!!!

Would not be a shop of you had to worry about little
things like paint and epoxy spills. You should have
seen the floor after I built a DC-10. Mounds of
hard epoxy every where.!!!
I guess we will fly the Rig in a few weeks.

You're right...the flight shots of the Isobar are friggen' spectacular, truly.
Second only to the neat video of your rig going in(no offense intended...it was tragic, but the video was impressive).
Isin't Bob Parks a peach? What a guy, what a guy.
I don't know how you deal with the bits left over after building a DC10 out of foam. I am still cleaning up little granules of foam six months after just hogging out some flaps on a P47. Somebody needs to invent a bug that eats foam.
I had guessed that the outline on the floor was a starfire. Oh, well. My roof is now multi-layered...outlines of one plane on top of another. I go up there and try to remember what was what...only the outlines of the parts are left, most of the planes have long gone to that great junkyard in the sky.

The shots are courtesy of Cedric Gould. Some of you may remember him as the designer/builder/pilot of the Isosquirt ducted fan a few years ago at Mississippi Afterburner. He's home from college for the summer and has a brand new Olympus digital camera with a 10x optical zoom. That zoom lense is a must for jet photography. Thanks again Cedric!!!
