I have heard that the roo nose gets a lot of pressure on taxi etc. whats a safe torque for this purpose. I was thinking something like a futaba 9202 (69oz) for this job. Do I need more torque?
thanks,

I just use a JR 517 which seems adaquate.
139 flights on it and it's still ok. I fly off asphault, but it occassionaly gets in the grass. You don't need much throw on steering on a Roo, or they get touchy.

Ragz,
I have the 9202 on nose gear on my roo and have not had any problems so for, 25 flights and counting. However, I have yet to fly off grass, Next Sunday might be the first time. I might be flying off a 2500' kinda rough grass strip. I will see how it goes but if you are only flying off paved runways I would use the 9202 and not worry about it.

Hi todd,
I am going to singapore next month and will complete my Roo shopping list...I can start it once im all set...I still havent got those big digital servos..so i cannot start....now u know its hard to get a jet flying in india...why only a jet...any RC plane..even a prop job. Top Quality RC hardware is scarce here.
More later...as i go ahead.
Thanks for all your replies guys. I will be flying from grass AS WELL...
