b17flyer, talked to you today at the War Bird rally. Forgot to ask who painted your F-4?? As I am in the market for a painter. Is it a business or just a friend you have? I would like to do mine in the Bicentennial scheme and need to talk to someone as to how they need it before I go to far with the build.
Thanks Roger

its a george Miller f4.
THat plane belongs to Phantom guy Aka Doug Myers.
that one belongs to him and mine is being readied for paint. same plane etc.
HE works at a custom restoration shop and is thier painter. He's great , but I build his planes and he has painted my plane(s) in return. he can do it if not swamped. But you have seen the work he can do. And he would have to get with you to work it out. If really serious and want to contact him( off line w/ computer probs right now) let me know and I'll pass it to him.

RE: f4 painted One down/one to go
I would like to know if he would be interested. I'm not even close to the paint stage as yet, but I would like to have some idea as to who I am going to have paint it and in what stage of assembly the painter wants it in. Cost would also be something nice to know.
The last guy I had paint one of my models really did not try too hard and I was disappointed.
Thanks Roger

RE: f4 painted One down/one to go
I was looking for someone in the Denver Metro area. It looks like you do nice work but I do not know how it would work with you being in Ft Lauderdale and me in Denver. I have a buddy that works for Frontier airlines and I do get down there about twice a year to go diving in the Keys. Getting it on an airplane there and back would not be that big of a problem. I just don't think that it would leave you much time to paint it. How much time would you need and what sort of dollar amount are we talking about. I am enclosing a photo of how I wanted it done.
