Default Wing tip smoke

Hi.

Any ideas for sources to get smoke cartridges that would give good, dense smoke from the wing tips? Preferably in colors. I have seen the ones from www.rcsmoke.com that is used on Wingo's etc., but I doubt they would give a reasonable amount of smoke on a jet at 150 mph.+

What do the parachuter's use? Have seen they strap some sort of cans to their legs that gives colored smoke?

Would look great with say red and blue smoke from the wing tips along with the smoke from the exhaust nozzles from the F-15 [8D]

Any tips, guys?[sm=confused.gif]

This is funny........kind of

Quote from Tower's Tech Notes:

COMMENTS: Smoke release holes must face ground.
Smoke is TOXIC. Avoid Prolonged Exposure.
Clamps to hold cartridge to the fuselage (try a hardware store).

if these cartridges you're talking about have wicks on the ends then no you can't turn them off. once they are lit you're off to the races. I've used these before and they put a ton of smoke out but get fairly warm.

have fun

I have played with these on my target drone, Easy to install but it is a fuse and so it only goes for about 3 minutes... Best smoke is in the 1st minute and a half. But they only come in white/gray... If you want to make you're own you could try this place ... lots off goodies http://www.skylighter.com/mall/chemi...?Sort=S#CH8315
Just don't blow yourself up

This place has all 3 colored smoke canisters... I tried to find a skydive supply shop on the web but did not see anything with smoke.
