very cool, but it looks like it has some serious yaw tendancies in flight

Seeing the landing would have been nice. Half the video is listening to German and looking at a net. Annoying transitions...stick to simple cross dissolves.
Does look like it needs rudder mixing quite a bit. Pilot needs a much stronger left thumb.
Absolutely beautiful airplane. This video does not do it justice although I appreciate the time and effort put forth in posting it.

thanks

I really would have liked to see the landing also. Cool video after I turned to sound off.

It's not an issue and I didn't mean to sound critical. I just think that we are all so used to seeing a progression of take-off, flyby's, and landing that I felt cheated in the end. And the landings are the most exciting and difficult part of the entire flight. Maybe he dorked it and they didn't want the bad publicity
Thanks for posting the link der.

The real 744 has yaw dampers to control this 'instability'.

sdc, how the hell can anyone feel cheated when the choice is between the videoclip we got and NOTHING?
After all, it is an incredible achievement, like the B-52 with 8 Wren54's.
