AMA Doc - Safety regulations for .... gas turbines
Is it required to have a "experienced turbine pilot" witness the 20 turbine flights in 24 months? The doc on page 3 says you must keep a log of your flights. On page 4 it mentiones the form must be attested by a second turbine pilot. If I am the only one flying turbines in my area, am I required to make at least 20 flights in 24 months in front of an experienced turbine pilot? Or do I just keep a record of the number of flights and have it witnessed by someone at our local field?

Good question-I am in the same boat-I'm the only turbine pilot for 300 miles around. I am keeping a detailed log book, with witness signatures on each flight, hoping that this will be OK when it is time to renew after that regulation takes effect. Can someone that knows chime in ?
