Default Viper Conversion - Help!

Hi Guys,
I am currently building a BVM Viper which I have lying around. It has a ducted fan setup.. no tailpipe has been installed yet..,
Engine will be a KBV82.

I would like to leave my options open on a possible RAM 500 conversion at some time in the future.. Can anyone supply me with details of modifications I should make now to make the conversion less work later?

This engine (KBV82) seems to have faded from popularity very fast.. why?

As always, your help is greatly appreciated... someone MUST have done this before?! By the way, some pictures of conversions would be most helpful!

regards, Jim

one ?, is your viper the newer one that uses the standard "maverick" fuse or is it old one with the one piece wing and non removable canopy ? the old one would be virtually impossible to convert, the new one is a breeze

jim ,if you want a fully bypassed system with custom conformal tanks[making it a kinda' mini- bandit] ,give gary mueller a call .this set up also has the replacement inlet liners . he also has the instructions and parts for an open turbine system that uses the existing inlets

I fly a Jettech converted maverick, mine is the bypass version which requires new inlets to be fitted but garry also does another bypass which fits straight on the BVM ilets and he also does a system which uses no bypass and the standard inlets. All his coversion kits have the proper kevlar tanks available which are excerlent as are the rest of his products.
