CJM Talon flights
Anyone that is interested in the new CJM Talon sport turbine...you will NOT be disappointed!
I was at the factory yesterday and took a look at the video of a couple of the first flights. The plane flys beautifully on an AMT Mercury. Short stable takeoff roll, rock solid in the air, very docile flight characteristics yet maneuvers well when desired. It appears to be a floater on landing and needs flaps to get some drag for a positive landing. Bruce has a winner, and it's well worth considering if you're looking for something out of the ordinary.
I will be taking delivery of my Talon the end of July, and will have the kit at the Liberty Bell jet rally in PA on Saturday afternoon and all day Sunday. Come by and check it out, and I can offer you a discount if you'd like to place an order for a kit.

Talon progress
Tom I am now installing the servos in my Talon, hitec 5945's, the bypass is in, landing gears are in, nose gear door functional, starting on the main gear doors and tank installation.
I will be using my AMT Mercury in this plane and painting it in Blue
Angels colors , the #3 plane as this one is the third Talon out of the mold. I will have this plane at the Columbus Ohio meet, hopefully flown and ready to show it's stuff.
Regards, Roger Shook

Well, Roger, there goes ONE of the paint schemes I was considering!
You will absolutely love the way the Talon will fly. I don't know if I will make it to Columbus. I look forward to meeting you and seeing your Talon sometime down the road.
Please post some pics for us when you're done!

Prototype paint scheme
I was kidding Bruce on Friday that he will only hurt sales with that ugly paint scheme, regardless of how well the plane does fly! Brent took the ribbing in stride....and will hopefully re-do the wing!
Yech! But still a great flying plane!
