Default F-4 Phantom .90 size?

I've just recently purchaesed a set of plans for a Baugmer/ Dematcro F\4 Phantom. The plans call for an .80 size unit, but I was wonderring if I enlarge the plans to accomodate a .90 size motor/fan would it fly better, worse, or the same?

Default F-4 Phantom .90 size?

Are the weights of the engines the same, or different. And, can the accomodate the same size fans?

Default F-4 Phantom .90 size?

Hi, the The engines are the same size and weight. The fan like the Dynamax will work from a 65 engine to A 90 engine. It is a 5" fan.Tractor type means the fan is in front of the engine (Dynamax,Ramtec).there also a pusher type called A Byron 6" fan whitch the is in back of the engine. There is also A 5" fan caled A Turbax. This fan is for A 45 to 65 size engine.Your plans should show if it is A pusher or A tractor type fan. Most of the jet jocks use's A OS 91 engine whitch will work in your jet.OS came out with A 77 size engine (80) with A Dynamax fan than thay updated the Engine to A 90 with the same fan to give it A little more thrust.I hope this helps.Take care Wilburn
