Default R500 "Strainer" FOD Protector?

Have any RAM 500 fliers yet tried a "strainer' or wire mesh type FOD protector over the compressor inlet? Any difficulties with very modest restriction of inlet flow?

My application is the JHH Cougar, with the compressor inlet just over and between the very large holes for the LG doors and body flaps. Sure to suck up clippings/etc. from our grass field at take off. Dean Wichmann also thought a FOD protector would be wise for the Cougar installation. Has anyone tried this yet with the 500?

Philip Avonds is runing one on his 500 powered Rafale. He's had great success with it.
