Default Skymaster Gripen

I`ve just got my Gripen, and I must say as a modeller, things have gone in the right direction in the ARF game.. Solid glass, not the moulded foam-"****", who "everyone" else tries to repair..

Jet is different from other areas in modelling, and I think this is noticed, and inlined by Skymaser nowadays.

I hear some at this site complain about the standard gear, but as I understand, the Robart is upgraded for the guys over there ( US )... For what reason is the standard gear still in this set? A option, yes, but not really, but it still has tonns of complaints all over?[:-]
Well, we`ll see what the performance will doo compared to the announcements.

I bought a Avonds F-16 over a year ago, still alive and ready. And this was the ultimate for me till then. At this prize, it still is. But if you are in a reall hurry, the Gripen is a quickborne bullet, capable to give you the rush you want.
It would be a question of what you want to acheave as a modeller.

Not the biggest, fatest you`ve seen, but a potent machine for a long time( Up too you ).

The model had a crushed nose, but I`ll repair the damage.( App. 2X2 inc as a real torpedo inlet ) Just a advice to the factory to be moore cautious when wrapping it in the bubble plastics....
No damage on the box outside, anyhow the nose took it all..

I plan to give it 11,5kg thrust, and the model was ment to do a everyday duty, instead of the indoor foamflyers.... A lightyear apart, but what a heck..

A very promising model, just take real care in the wing servo mounting.
Some say, this would be better if it was made differently.
May too weak, the original way, some said.

The 200 knots limt is perhaps thin here, but what do I care, we don`t have such rules here

Do anyone have some upgraded info on the coloured smoke?
Blue and yellow must be the right choice here?

I have still not bought any Iriodin powder, as I read David Gladvin had some interesting news on this topic...?? But no reply.

Anyhow, I have some flyfishing left, before this bird is airborne.

Regards

Gudmund
