Default A Message From Ram

Originally posted in the Clinic, I felt it was appropriate to post here for all to read:

"To all RAM customers with engines at the shop; We are currently working on setting up a service facility that will be owned and operated by Carlos and a few of the original RAM mechanics. You will be contacted in the next week and given an update on the situation. I exhausted all the means I had to make this work. REI and I gave it all we had and then a heck of allot more. As many may see it as a failure,we are proud to know we made a difference in the industry. Thanks to RAM many new modelers were able afford and enjoy this great hobby. At the end it gives me pride to know that all the current engines on the market are nothing more than a copy of the KJ/RAM venture.
I am currently working on several details that will allow the continuation of the RAM name and will provide all of its customers with future sales and service.
REI and I will be returning to our field and will enjoy our friendship and the hobby we had such a passion for.
Thanks to all the supporters and friends we made in this industry. Hope to see you all in the future

Regards; Albert "

Todd

Thanks for finding it and putting it up again. Maybe people will give them the time required to do it.

Just FYI, that is a TOTALLY different post from what he said before. If this was what he had said, there would NOT have been a problem.

Continued....
A message from Rei!

" Ditto to Albert (post # 12)

HI to all.

I have been quiet for a while letting Albert take care of things his way. Unfortuinately it has come to this but Albert did his absolute best in keeping things alive. I will not go into all the reasons this has happened but I will say that I will be supporting Carlos 150%. I believe he will do great things for all existing RAM owners and possible future ones. I will help him in any way I can.

Hope to see you all at a future event.

Albert, hope to see you at the field tomorrow.

Later,

Rei
Ex-President

Hope on the horizon....

Rei and Albert, Good luck to you both.

This sounds like better news than what we were reading earlier this week.

AND I wish Carlos all the best in his repair shop, especially on my engine.

BY the way, I had to buy some Wildcat 5 % for Mich Jets tomorrow. (Back to DF.)

I feel sorry for all the RAM owners.
I knew that overheard conversation at POLLO TROPICAL was right about RAM was on it's way out! I knew it! I knew it, but too many people with out knowledge first hand had to but in and give there worthless two cents in.
Oh yeah, a new facility in Sunrise, dont worry some said, it's big, it's brand new.... big deal, they never even put there name on the doors! I know some were just trying to hold on to a wonderfull dream. That's ok for you, but come on, give US a break!
I will be very carefull for now on when so called rich$$$ jet flyers with many hours tell us they know the company guys. There is at least one I know. You other guys rock most of the time.
I may never get my 500 to run right now!
Oh well , it's just a hobby and this is expected. Whew!......it's off my chest now, I can sleep. Good night.
See you at the field Mark!

Default Huh?

RAM quote:
"At the end it gives me pride to know that all the current engines on the market are nothing more than a copy of the KJ/RAM venture"

Is this a joke or just a clue to why you guys could not make it...?

Default copy cats

Oh heres a shock.... another shot to a company that put a turbine in every hand of a modeler who flies either a RAM product or an unkown copy of one. The sad part of this is two men who put everything on the line to support their dream as a hobby and as a business I see it has only failed financially. RAM did everything they could possibly do for everyone who flew their product. I agree with Albert on his comments..... because I smile to knowing everytime ANY turbine starts you can thank REI & ALBERT for their continued technology and no words, comments or "shots" can ever change that. Oh one other thing, no I was not on the payroll. (just for those who crossed their mind)

Good luck to Rei, Albert & Carlos, I will support them also 150%

Regards,
Dean Di Giorgio
