I purchased what I thought was a RAM 750 from an individual, but upon setting it up for its first run I noticed that the ECU stated that it was a RAM 1000, which I though hell of a good deal. My question is how do you actually know that it is a RAM 1000 or a 750 since the motors on the web site are the same dimensions. Are their case markings on the turbine I should look for? And also I am running Exxon 2380 any particular reason I shouldn’t use this oil. I heard that it does get a carbon build up.

Send it to Andy Low at Electrodynamics and he will adjust it to any spec as well as give it a complete check. About $25 for a complete check up.

Jester:
Take off the front cover and look at the compressor housing for the serial #. E-mail me the number and I'll let you know what engine you have. Who did you buy it from? My e-mail is:[email protected]
