Any good electronics shop should carry twisted pair cables, You can even find sheilded twisted cables.

I buy mine from Peak Electronics ( Makers of the Sirius line of Chargers) I just got 100 feet of twisted 22 Gauge wire from them $37.00, they also sell the connectors. http://www.siriuselectronics.com/

Hey P38,

I went to Sirius elec, the hot link you left and did not notice any product info on the wire. I take it you need to call for the wire?

Anyone ever talk about using say 18 gauge 3strand for hard wiring elevator servos and of the like so as not to incur voltage drops and to insure against accidental disconnects. I thought of it due to the number of long (six foot plus) jets that we have, especially for the Byron (have 3) F-15. Do you think it would work?

I should have mentioned that they do not advertise the wire or connectors on their web site, just call them and they'll give you all the info. As far as using 18 gauge wire goes I believe you would have to use some other connector besides those used in stock R/C systems because you wont be able to fit it into standard pins or connector shells.

I dont mean to try to reinvent the wheel, It was just an idea I had and I was unsure if anyone had tried it. I was actually thinking of hard wiring everything in (ie. soldering) by chopping the servo lead and just running a 3 strand wire back to the tail feather servos. With that 4-5 foot lead I thought that perhaps it may help to avoid any voltage drop you may have. Just trying to avoid that sick feeling when you have a plane goes down.
