Just noticed that the [link=http://www.skymasterjet.com/]Skymaster[/link] Web site has some new pics and an update on the F-5/T-38.... I am seriously excited about this new project and absolutely cannot wait until it is ready. I am already on the waiting list...Eric, can I have serial #2????? [sm=biggrin.gif][sm=biggrin.gif]
This thing looks absolutely killer, sized for a P-120 or similar (unless your name is Buck, then you'll stuff a rip-snorting AT-400 in there!)...what an awesome looking jet. Rumour has it that the prototype is supposed to be test flown this weekend, if anyone has any more info, PLEASE post it!
If the build quality is anything like my SM F-18, it is going to be one *****in' Jet!

To get serious again (sorry Buck), I've been searching around and found a bunch of unusual paint schemes for the F-5....I'll post a couple....there are even a few scale "Sport" jet schemes one could do.
Obviously there are also the well known Swiss Patrouille and numerous Aggressor squadron schemes (I'm doing a Marine aggressor scheme myself).

The scheme on the BVM black Super Bandit is originally a Navy F-5 aggressor scheme, down to the #23 on the nose. I have a profile shot of the actual F-5 around here if you want it. Taken at Cecil Field in '89 or '90.

How about this color scheme? This is the Skymaster F-5 prototype #1. She isn't naked now.
