Default Golden West Models "BLADE"

I was just wondering of anyone out there has flown or seen the Golden West Models Blade fly. The airplane looks like the Hot Spot except that the engine is enclosed and the vertical fins are straight rather than angled in. Golden West Models claims that The Blade flies better than the Hot Spot and relatively the same speed.

Also the kit is available in the Basic, Deluxe and Super Deluxe(Primed and ready for painted and equipment installation). It is an all composite airplane and I was wondering about the quality of the kits. I am very picky and just wanted some opinions on the Kit.

I miss my Hot Spot and would like to replace it, but they seem to be few and far between for now.

Thanks Guys,

Paul

Paul,

FYI I think you can get hot spot kits for around $500.00. Have you tried planes plus or www.dreamworksrc.com ?

Sorry don't know about the blade, but I've seen some hot spots on the cheap at both those sites.
