My Feedback: (1)
I have a new Simjet 1200 that I just received to replace the first one that didn't work.
I must say that they fixed the early 1200s problems. It starts every time.
It has no more flames shooting out the back on start up.
It has an idle thrust of just under 1 pound. And a full throtle thrust of 12.75 pounds.
Idle to max thrust is quick as, if not better than my ram 750.
It is going to make its first flight this weekend in my DL kit mb339.
I think that this combo is going to be perfect.
I would also like to say that I have not been a happy Simjet owner.
This will change in time.
It gets a little bit better every start.
I am sure it will get a lot better every flight.
We will see...
Time fixes everything.
The guys at Simjet USA have been very helpfull.
They should not be blamed for the problems Simjet is having.
It does however look like the Simjet problems are being fixed.
I am sure that they will be back in the running very soon.
So if you are looking for new turbine give Ed and Kevin at Greatnorthern Hobbies a call.
