I just purchased a used Ram 500, and understand from reading RCU postings that a number of people have had starting troubles with theirs. It was also mentioned that Tony F. wrote up a set of instructions that are a lot better than what's in the manual.
Does anyone have a copy they can forward to me?
Tony,
Are you out there?

BTW, for all those people who have received the pdf file already and have later sent me a note thanking me for such a useful document - please direct your thanks to Tony, as he's the guy who put all of the hard work into writing all that stuff. Without his expertise and enthusiasm for helping other people, there'd be a lot more RAMs that don't run too well.

From: Lakeville , MN,
I have often thought that if RAM had supplied a decent manual with the 500. it would have saved a world of grief. Maybe they would still be in business? No, probably not, but if only Tony had been there to write the manual in the first place, we RAM owners would have had an easier time.
As all 500 owners know, it is very easy to program a RAM 500 so there is no chance at all of getting it to run, and you will never know why, or how to fix it without some help from somebody who knows.
Tony was VERY helpful to me in getting mine going. Thanks, Tony.
