[>:] Hi Guys,
The SM F15 is finally ready for the test Hop.
Ive set up the throws as recommended 40-45mm up and down on Elev and 20-25mm on aileron.
Is it a good idea to have some expo dialled in ? If so how much ?
Do I follow similar take off proceedure like the kangaroo i.e hold full up elev on take off roll ?

What radio are you running? I find 25-30% expo to be perfect for deadening up the center on just about every plane I've ever owned. On a Futaba you use negative expo, on a JR you us positive expo. For low rates I use 75% of recommened full throws.

Xantos,
You will want a little expo on the SM-15. I usually like quite a bit of expo on my planes but found the SM-15 only needs about 15% on up elevator and about 8-10% on down for a good feel.
You dont need to hold elevator on take-off roll, normal elevator application at rotation speed is all thiat is required.
