Cheap materials
Those of you looking for a source for hard to find materials look no farthur than McMaster/Carr out of Chicago. (mcmaster.com).
These folks ship lightening fast and their return policies are very liberal. I went to their on line catalog for pneumatic tubing for retracts when building my BVM f-100, put the order in 1am on Tues. , had the tubing in my hand on Wed evening.
Things that i have found at Mcmaster-------materials similar to BVM heat shield, BVM insulation blanket. Pneumatic valves, cylinders, tubing ( also in 4X,6X ribbon), Tygon fuel tubing in 4mm and 6mm, quick disconnect fittings like Festo. Quick disconnect fittings like Robart:Ts, Ys, and straight through and 1/3 the cost. Nylon barbed fittings T's, y's and manifolds very cheap.
I bought a great fuel pump for pumping kero. from thenm--$30.
