Default BMT200-KS info. needed

Anyone running BMT200-KS turbine here in the US?

Any information (good or bad) would be appreciated and thanks in advance for your prompt reply.

Hi Ben,

I know you asked about people running the 200KS in the US but I have a pair of 120KS engines and am completely happy with them. Andre makes a quality product in my books. I imagine that the 200 is every bit as good.

Regards,
Garrett

As far as I am aware there are no BMT 200's running. Andre is busy developing the motor and is very close to operational trials. I am sure he will chip in with more information when he has time. The 120KS is a class motor. The precision and quality of build is at aerospace levels. I believe it can be pushed to 160N at higher RPM's that are still within spec. I'm on the list for one and cannot wait as it is intended for my AW L39.

Hi Ben,
Currently there are no 200's in circulation. Our first production batch is destined for our local UAV program. It may be a while before we release them in great numbers as we have only a few available for innitial evaluation during 2004. What I can commit to is that it will be as reliable as the 120/160KS has proven to be.
Best regards
