Have aquired an older model BVM Agressor II Fues that is in great shape, problem is, no wings or gear. So I am looking for a crashed or project Agressor to get my ship in the air. Any ideas would be of great help. I have no documentation with the ship, and am not sure if it is feasable to cut my own core to construct a new wing from scatch. I have heard that a wing kit from BVM is very expensive. Any help I would appreciate.
Thanks

If you are really stuck,
I probably have the landing gear in Pretty good shape from a crash. (with robostruts)
I may have a wing from a crash, but it is BEYOND repair.... The carbon spars may be Intact though....
Hopefully, you can find some better choices!

Thanks Dave, At this point even badly damaged wings would help. At least this way I stand a slim chance of taking a profile/template from what's left and getting something made. I have several friends that are engineers/composite workers with Lancair and have access to CF and the bagging goodies. This might be my only opportunity to get this ship back in the air. Really wished I knew what happened to the wings, but the prev owner doesn't know. The bottom line is, any parts, damaged or not, would help me with this project. This is my first fan project, but have the good fortune to have experienced DF guys in my area. Seems everyone has bailed and gone turbine, so no one in my area has an Agressor.
Thanks for your reply.

Hey Skydog,
I have an Agressor II sitting here almost ready to fly again after a semi-rekit last year. I can take whatever measurements you need & probably trace the airfoil if you want to cut cores. Try to scrounge those C/F parts if you can though, would make building one a lot easier. Other problem you'll have is the glass belly pan, although you could probably form one from balsa if need be. Maybe some begging to the BVM demi-gods is in order here?
I'll dig around for my instruction manual & copy it for you also.

Chris (Skydog),
Sent you an email earlier, manual is copied but I need your mailing address. Also, you want me to try to trace the root & tip for you? Root's easy, tip may be tough. Maybe Dave's "crunched" wing is better for that? I *really* don't want to cut the tip off the wing for a pattern.
car-fixer, got an extra set of fuel tanks in there anywhere? Mine are AWOL & I'd like originals before I buy/try Yellow A4 tanks.
Gee... maybe we could get BVM to re-release these things since they've suddenly become so popular?

I have a NIB Agg 2. Ill trace the wing cores and send them to you. Ill trace the outline and the root and tip.
Let me know if you are interested.
I think BV should do a rekit of the old ones, just for nostalgia.

Thanks Bob! Don't worry about tracing that tip! We have enough to worry about without you cutting off a good wing tip! Not good ! I know your kidding, but the thought of it sends chills....
Can't thank you ALL enough for the help so far. Took my fues to the club meeting tonight and they all sat there slack jawed. I think I might have started something with the group. Got a couple now that want to fly fans!

Car_Fixer! I sent you an email telling you that I was interested in your offer. Not sure if you got it, sounds like you might not have. Please send me a note telling me which email you would like me to respond too.
Thanks

Hey carfixer,
I could really use a set of the tanks, let me know how much you want for them. Also, would you consider seperating the pipe from the .82? I'm using a different pipe right now & would like to find the "right" one for that motor. If not, how much for the .82 & pipe, or however you want to sell it?
Good luck in sending an Agressor! You'll find that with the vertical stab on it won't get past UPS size limits. You can do it via Greyhound for a reasonable amount though. Wings are a piece of cake to ship though!
Either reply to me here or email me @ [email protected]
Thanks!
PS...Chris (Skydog) you still need a copy of the manual? I've got it here but still need your mailing address.
