I have one I bought from a guy who partially completed it. I am just finishing it up. It is a nice plane but a lot of work since it was a short kit.
I wanted something a little smaller than the Baby Boomerang for a 14lb Wren 54. It is ideal for that size turbine.
I'm not sure the kits are being sold anymore.
Check out the Formost. It looks like a Five Jet or a Boomerang Elan but is an ARF.

I built one 2001-02, and flew my 100 or so first turbine flights on it. Wren mk1, Spring air HD,no brakes, Dubro 50oz, 11lbs empty.
I did the built up booms, but made airfoiled tail surfaces from foam and balsa.
Very good flyer, flaps are a must, as it glides well.
Another alternative to the Boomerang could be the Falcon 120?

I would say no. Not more than it is based on any other twin boom trainer. Look at some of my construction pics:
