Believe it or not, A client needs them for a Mammoth skeleton to identify key pins for disassembly.
They don't care that they say "Remove before flight" although, the interest is in RC sized ribbons as opposed to full scale.
The ones you link to appear to be full scale. Thanx tho.

Bob, Is the alligator clip and heat shrink part of the package, or did you add those. The standard grommet is what I had in mind...like the overall size tho.

I got mine from the aviation store at Tampa airport. They are also available at most airplane museums.
