I talked to FT today, and he is going to have a Jets Fun Scale Event at SJI. He will have openings for 24 entrants, well 23 now that I'm entered! Entry fee for Fun Scale is TBD, but whatever it is I'll be there. I want to start getting more involved in Scale competitions, and the new Sabre and this event should be the perfect way to get going.

BTW, Fun Scale is a pretty simple way to get involved. The only documentation needed is a picture to verify your color scheme. After that it's all flying.

Looking forward to attending and seeing what this is all about.

I was about to go into another posting about SCI and remark about the Fun Scale event but I am glad to see someone posted it here seperately.
I think this is going to be a terrific event and should prove to be a blast for all in attendance. See you guys there.

If you really want ot make a fun time of it all, come a week early to the 9th Annual Florida International Jet Rally at the lake Wales Airport. About 30 min away. Except for Florieda Jets the best meet in the South of Superman.

Fly from sun-up to sun-down with no interruptions at a great flying site, a long wide runway, no landing lights and unlimited over-flight areas. Those things are what the pilots really like. That is why the FIJR is routinely referred to as: “The Pilots Jet Rally”.

Make a week of it and have a great time.
