MY EAGLE HAS LANDED
Today I test flew my Avonds F15. Twice!!! All went very well. It was the first jet I've ever test flown that required absolutley no trim change. Lucky I guess, but this one is a great flying jet. Powered by a AMT 280, It's got VERTICAL!!!!! First fight it rotated very soon, I say about 100 feet. Not violently, nice and smooth but way sooner than I expected.Now I can add all the goodies like smoke, external tanks and ordanance. Scott

Someday I will fly as good as you. (without the shaking though)
Maybe you can get one of those pilots from Brice or Johnny, or are you going
to put that special pilot in there?

It took off in less than 150'. First landing- just before mid runway-rolled off the end just a little. We only have 400'. Second landing-
much better. Touched down at about first quarter runway, carried the nose wheel for about 30-40'. Stopped before the end. Very nice!!
