This may be old news to you die harder jet guys but I just got solid confirmation from BVM yesterday that Ram and Simjet have closed their doors as far as new jets go.. That leaves only Goldenwest and AMT.. Now I am not 110% on all facts here but I hate to hear as I am a new jet guy...If there are any other manufacturers please let me know... Thanks TK597

Hey listen I wasnt trying to convey false info or take up (precious ad space) I just heard that and wanted to get more info myself.. Hated to hear it.. and as far as the rude reply I got above this one, there is no need for that.. (Jets) in the sense to me in my post was meaning engines.. And I think for most of you you know what I mean.. And for you certain ones who didnt know and (they will remain nameless) Ive been dealing with (turbine) engines for years.. I just decided to play with toy ones for awhile..Does Boeing 502, Rolls Royce Viper, Or Allison C-250 mean anything to you.. Get a grip.. These will (Eat) the turbines you play with.. I can be rude too... Moderator you may post this in its proper forum if you wish but I want the above to be able to read it...

TK597,
Simjet held their annual meeting and convention in Denmark on July 30th to August 1st, so this means they are far from closing down.
All Simjet's American sales and services (U.S.A. and Canada) are being handled by Great Northern Models.
Their website is: http://members.rogers.com/embrocki/GNModelSite/home.htm
Kevin and Ed are very good people to talk to and they will answer all your questions.

As I told you in my email, SimJet is alive and well. SimJet USA has closed their doors, but SimJet continues on.
Stay tuned for more developments in the coming year.
Ed
PS What's your real name? TK597 sounds so Orwellian.

I have it on good authority that as of this post, SIMJET is manufacturing and delivering engines, status quo.
With the volitility of this market over the past few years, ANYTHING is possible, however there is no validation of your information as you have posted it.
I believe that you have made an honest mistake in regards to your understanding of the current status of the SIMJET product as production and delivery of these engines is ongoing.
Regards,
Kerry J. Sterner
