Default Top Gun Jets

Anyone have opinions on the TOP Gun jets? I was thinking about the MIG 29 or F-15 with the dyanmax/ramtec option, they seem to be nicely priced. I am mainly curious about the quality of the kits and not necessarily how true to scale they are.

Thanks

Default TGA mig 29

I just got one of these kits.
Very good quality I am impressed and the price is not bad I hope to have mine done in a month or so. I am going to build mine with the byron fan for grassfield operations I can't wait.

Both are great flyers, you'll love either one.

I have a mig 29 with about 10 flights now, this is the easiest jet to fly ,its very predictable the quality is awesome, mine saw some hard hits in the 1st few flights,no damage whatsoever ...This jet has one hell of a glide ratio, theres no worry at all in the event of a deadstick.Awww BTW mine is bryon fan& OS91,do yourself a favor & dont waste the extra money to buy the dynamax version, the difference is minimal...mine for a big jet this size on bryon power does 125-130 all day long...It will rotate in less than 200 feet & go straight vertical..total blast to fly,Just purchased the TGA F15 bryon III as well... Attached is a pic of mine...good luck you wont be dissapointed!

I like my MiG-29 too. It was a cinch to build, and flies like a trainer. Unfortunately, I built mine before the Dynamax option was on the market. I don't like the greasy mess the Byron setup produces. Still, it's a nice plane.

I used to race my buddies Mig-29 with mine. I had the Dynamax setup and he had the Byron's. He would get in the air in half the distance, but once I got up, I whupped his butt. Yeah, you know it Mikey!

Anyway, loved the Mig-29, taught me how to fly jets. (and how to repair them-HEE HEE) I think whoever lays the fiberglass on the fuselages used to work at a boat factory, they are tough as heck, real solid. "Landings" that would shatter other jets doesn't affect the TGA jet, and gosh knows I've tried!!

I have seen the TGA F-15's fly around all day like knats, great jet. Either jet you can't go wrong with. No go get one and fly dammit!

we have built five of the top gun f15, two byron versions and three dynamax version, and also two of the Mig 29 byron versions. they are probably one of the best ways that you can get into flying jets. this is how I would recommend for any body who eventually wants to fly turbines to start.
