Thanks Bryce and Mark for coming to visit us on your short layover. Its amazing what you can accomplish on an 18 hr layover.
Jetblue Mark was scheduled to fly in to Oakland and come see Tam and Dave and I today. Mid morning I get an IM from Bryce saying he is in San Fran. Perfect timing! So with a little coordination Mark arranges to go drive to San fran from Oakland to pick up Bryce. So mid afternoon I call Dave to get an update on when we are all going to hook up at Tam's to talk shop and run the new Titan as well as pick out schemes for our super hornets... So I say where are the guys right now? Dave replies well BlackCloud (Mark) is on the bay bridge right now headding to get Bryce...followed by .... if the thing is ever gonna collapse it will be now while Blackcloud is on it... thankfully he made it across and picked up Bryce.. After a couple of Vietnamese coffees and a runup of the Titan we headded off to the dinner of champions at the Happy Hound, a bay area layover tradition...the best hamburgers, hotdogs, corn dogs, onion rings and milk shakes... So to make along story short even after avoiding a bay bridge collapse the BlackCloud struck again as Marks simple food order turned out to leave him foodless and waiting as the rest of us were waiting patiently for his order to come up. BTW he ordered first...
Here are a couple of pics from the feast! We were a little concerned that Tam could not open his mouth wide enough for the oversized burger...but in the end he powered right through it... the burger never had a chance...

Looks like fun. How bad was the trip across the bridge? I was stationed out at Travis AFB (Faifield) and it used to take 3.5 hours to get to SFO, It wasn't even a 60 mile drive. [

Directions to the World Masters 2005 LOL
I could have used a good map to find my way to that bridge! No problem crossing but Bryce gives me directions to pick him up at his hotel by the TransAmerica building??? I actually knew which one that is but if you don't have a street name once you get in town trying to look up for a building when you are used to looking down on it is not the way to do it! a few more calls to Bryce saying just meet me at the wharf I spot the top of that building and eventually found it. Next time is going to require one of those navigation systems
California Freeway signs uggghhh! [:'(]

Mark,
The ground totaly different from the sky.
I sometime got lost in SF city. Remember the last time I drop you off. It took us 1/2 hr just to find the entrance go back on the Bay bridge.

From: Mexifornia,
It was great seeing you guy's again, and of course we cant go anywhere without Black Cloud trailing his bad luck. Bryce and Mark pulled up to Tam's house and about 5 minutes later Tam's wife pulled up with Sean (Tam's Son). Sean walks into the shop and Bryce puts out his hand and say's "gimme five". Sean smacks down on Bryce's hand without skipping a beat. Then he walks over to were Mark was standing, Mark is standing to his side and follows with "hey there...gimme five"..........Sean turns towards Mark, and in true Black Cloud fasion.....runs right into the work bench!
Like Jimmy said, it was so classic that they lost Mark's order and we are all standing outside waiting with him and laughing like hell and Mark walks up to the window expecting the lady to hand him his bag of food, opens up the window and says "Can I help you?" The best part is that he had already lost his receipt so he couldnt even show the gal that he had actually placed an order, and she had no idea what he was waiting for. Thanks for not letting us down BC.
The new Titan seems like it has tons of power and the throttle response is awsome. Of course we just ran it on the ground and the true test will be at Arizona Jets when we fly the hell out of it in the "SUPA HONET"
See you there,
Dave
