Default Royal (Marutaka) Citation Model?

Hi All,

Anyone know where I can get my hands on a Royal (also known as Marutaka) Citation DF kit? I saw one in the mid-80's but don't know if they're still available or not.

Thanks!

Jimmy

The answer to your question is yes the kit can still be bought. If you look in my gallery you can see one i had. I will be home in 2 day as i'm on a trip, when i get back i will send you there web site of where the kit can be bought, talked to the guy who gets them in and he said they only get 1 or 2 kits a year from china.

Thanks! Ordered a kit and now have it. Plan to modify it into a CJ2 and make a mold for glass fuses. Will be for DF and slope.

Happy flying,

Jimmy

That's great you got it, its amazing to think you can still get the kit. CJ2 now i'd would like to see that. As for D/F i think the very least power you should have is 2 .25 sized D/Fs. Good look with the kit.

I'm looking at the .45-.91 size DF range for the CJ2. My biggest dilema is whether to stick with the CJ2 or make the new CJ3 or Mustang (I work for Cessna). I bought the Marutaka kit to get a basic structure to study while making mine. Hope to make a blue foam plug to pull the mold off of.

Happy flying,

Jimmy

While you are working on it keep in mind that it takes about 10 to 12 0unces of weight in the nose of that kit to balance it. Maybe you can figure out how to get a better balanced condition from the start. Thats a good looking airplane in F900's file.
