Default Getting started in Jets

After a lifetime of modelling and flying R/C, I thought I'd give Jets a try. Some of the locals (Nashville, TN area) do a fine job with them. I had in mind a Wren 44 and a F-5 Tiger.
Can anyone tell me if anyone makes a Tiger kit, or has plans for one that would suit this small Jet?
I am not interested in one of the high thrust big turbines. And...price comes into play. So far, I haven't seen any turbines for less than $2K. Comments and suggestions welcomed.
Thanks,
Frank Schwartz AMA 123
