yes tl ,,most guys do it that way .. use inbrd servos ... glue in 4 inch piece of metal control rod in trailing edges to connect inbrd to outbrd, and popcicle stick in front perpendicular to hinge line... and its called [elevons]... go to this and read it all.... http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_11...2Cbrake/tm.htm

Hi all,

Im still at it working on my rookie jet. Here are some pic's of my new elivon linkage.
It is made of carbonfiber tube 4-40 rod and BU-BRO safety lock kwik-link's
This should work good!!!!

Dan

You dont need to do anything fancy!!! Aeropoxy the two halves together and be done with it. Mount your servo in the inboard mount. I use one 8611 per side.

AFTERBURNER1,

Thanks, Iam just having fun working on this jet. I know I don't need to beef up the jet
but im new to turbines and we all overdue things.
I used the outboard servo it works just fine.

regards,
Dan

I did the outbrd mount as it seemed more center. Am I doing something stupid?

No, it has been done that way before with good results.
Check my thread " New toy ", its a Kangaroo but the building sequence is about the same.
