Default Flex cable flutter?

Has anyone ever routed flex cables to ailerons for thin wings? At first I thought it was a horrible idea, but after looking at the Sullivan carbon flex cables, I'm not so sure anymore. They seem pretty tight. What do you guys think? Seems to me like there is zero slop, but I'm still skeptical.

How long of a pushrod run will you need? Any turns in it? What size model? If it will be in a jet model, I'd look for another way to keep the pushrod length short.
