A cheap rc turbine?
I am a senior Mechanical Engineering major at Baylor University, and I graduate in May. THis semester i am required to do a project for my ME lab class. I would like very much to build a working Gas Turbine Test stand.
The stand, testing equipment, and sensors i can get on the budget Baylor provides for the project, but the turbine I can't.
MY QUESTION: Where can i get a used rc turbine either for very cheap, or donated to the Baylor ME department? I just don't even know where to start looking for something like this. Any help or information i could get would be greatly appreciated.

RE: A cheap rc turbine?
I'd look for an old Sophia or JPX. They go for well less than a grand. You might also contact the maufactures. They might loan you one for the duration of the project.
