Default Where is Tam?

Hey guys. Just curious, where is Tam and what is he up to these past couple months? I haven't heard a word from him in a long while. Also, I know the new Super Hornet prototype crashed, so did he release the production Super Hornet yet or is it still in the works? Thanks

Last I heard he was headed for China to finalize the final production version of the Super Hornet and would possibly be returning with a fresh batch of kits. It's just amazing how quick the whole process has been going.

Tam was in China until the day before Christmas, he is back now and working in his shop. I talked to him on New Years eve and I will be going to see him this week. Yes the Super Hornet crashed at Arizona jets and was the first of 5 jets that went into radio lockout at that event. The prototype Super Hornet did not have any scale panel lines and detail and was built, flown, and structure tested before any of that was put into the tooling. This was done so if there were any design changes that needed to be done, then it could be fixed easily and re tested. The one and only prototype that was built performed flawlessly and took a hell of a beating without any signs of reinforcement needed, so Tams trip to China was mainly concentrated on scale detail and getting his factory ready for production. As I understand it, Tam will have a few of the final production planes shipped to him and ready for Florida Jets, and the rest of them will be following shortly.
For any other information, contact Tam directly he is back in the shop busy as usual.

Gary, Tam was the only other person I talked to New Years eve. I really wanted to be at the Super T party but I just wanted you guy's to get some extra practice on his new fuseball table so I wont spank you so badly next time I am there.
Craps table will be coming to Phoenix so bring your Quarters.
Cya in a couple of weeks,
Dave
