I will be glassing my first foam wing soon and i have told there are several ways. My question is using epoxy better than poylester? Thanks for any help.

Epoxy is the resin of preference for this application... Addtioinally the expoxy resin has a less obnoxious odor.

Check out some of the hobby suppliers such as Aerospace Composites or others, they offer resins blended for this use.

Have a look at the Art's Hobby web site. He has an excellent online tutorial for glassing a wing.

If it is a balsa sheeted foam wing you can use either. My preference is epoxy. If it is a foam (not sheeted) wing the polyester resin will turn it into a mass of goo.
