Default 12 years ago..

Dan,

You weren't kidding about rooms. Best Western only had king size beds left, but we got a couple rooms at the Ramada..

The Lubbock group should have few folks coming in, probably Fri morning..

Hopefully this will be my last ducted fan SWest fan fly... should enough cash saved up for a turbine for next year...

Default Lubbock --> We'll be there

You're right Hank, a few of the Lubbock guys will be there. I'll be coming down Friday from Dallas. Robert and Tim will be coming down from Lubbock on Friday morning with my sold TG F-15 which will be delivered to Pat F. (I have no room). Eldon will also be coming down. Mike and Les have previous obligations but really want to be there. It really looks like this is going to be a BIG ONE like the good ole days. See you all soon... John

Yes Eddie I have a new Cook T33 and Kangaroo ready to fly NOW and will not have to work on them during the event (I hope). I will be there on Wed. Need to run some tests on some new receivers and whip antennas in a test plane. I will be there when you get there. I guess Rocketman is staying home again ?? Can,t wait to see your new Rig. Default F-15

No the Bicentennial F-15 won't be ready. Moving into another home and that takes priority! I'll be down there on Friday delivering the Topgun F-15 to Pat Fernandez (It was homesick). See you there... John

Default Six new jets

The Austin Gang will have six new jets ready for the Southwest. Most of us will be there Thursday. Some went up today.

You know its BAD luck to pull you plane backwards
to a jet event. Its very important, that the planes
travel in a forward direction so it know witch way
to go when you get there.
