first of all i want to say sorry for my bad english

the turbine is in my hands and i guess that i too hot and powerfull to run it and hold it with my hands at the same time!

so i made a big metal table..the reason is that i want to learn the throtle respons before i get it in my f-15....and also
learn what to do in a f**** up setioations..emediatly shat off and so.

so i want to say i have went until now until 40.000rpms on the test bet....

i cant open the throtle more cose the turbine is ...moving!!.i also have notice that the ring mount it has bent where it meets the glow
plug....the point that the thrust is dilivered to the airframe.....

I have just mounted mine with the straps that come with the turbine to a couple of 2" X 4" wooden blocks that are attached to a thick sheet of plywood with large wood screws. The plywood sheet is then held down to something like a picnic table with medium size "C" clamps. Mine can be run to full power with this setup without anything moving.

I built a test stand for my FTE T-500 and it worked great for me. Probably went a little overboard with the design but I was trying to keep things safe for me and those around me while the engine was running.

Forgot the mention that I clamp the board to a bench or table pretty solidly

Here's my setup for a small turbine. Be sure to secure it for the larger ones.

Nice test stand Jack. I'll keep it in mind for my next "larger" turbine.
