I have a UP-6 valve that is acting up. It will put air to the brakes but when I try to release the air from the brakes the air continues to release air from the tank through the port on the valve. Any suggestions?

Does the stem come all the way back or only part way?

Make sure the actuator arm is being released all the way and double check you connections to the valve are correct.

Also I assume you have it hooked to a brake cause the way I remember it will not close without the backpressure of the brake.

Thank you all for the input. The lines weren't connected to the brakes as I was just trying to set up the gear door sequencer and check gear operations. Once they were hooked to the brakes they worked like a charm. Thank you all.
