Default Waco Weekend

The forecast has been steadily changing since Wednesday afternoon. It is now forecast to be 57 for a high and 25 mph winds.
So the plans are to delay a week weather permitting

Dawn

Since the weather looks like it will be good this weekend there will be a gathering of Eagles in Waco Sat. and Sun.
Dust off the jets and lets burn some Jet A

on I35 take exit 330 (Hwy 6) go west on 6 towards Meridan, cross over lake, take first exit after lake, continue west on the service road for about .8 of a mile, turn right on Overflow Rd. Continue on Overflow, turn right at the first gate you come to. You're there.

At Overflow and the service road you will see a sign "HOTMAC" and also one for the marina.

Good Call!!!!! The Waco TV stations are predicting winds 25 with gusts to 35. I think Major Mike (I-NAV) put the hex on us. He's just pissed that he is in Germany and there's not even a remote chance of going flying till he moves to Hawaii.

JR,

We had a good crowd, Greg and Paul Bingham from Houston, Steven and I, Dan and Doug from Austin, Bob Covish from Austin,
Gus Hudson and Ed McElvy, Sam Snyder from Tyler, John Hall from the DFW area, Brian Gates, Joel Patrick new to Texas, and Mike Martin. The coolest thing was the King Cat that Sam Snyder has done a complete redo on to make it a scale British (I think) bomber!
Paul Bingham maidened a new F18 and flew their other one as well. We test flew a new P120+ and other than that it was an assortment of Jets

Did Mike Jensen maiden his Avonds F-16? If all goes well I'll have my new Skymaster Hawk ready for Austin if not before. Maj Mike is planning on being there too.
