@ Mark:
It sure was not the cheapest plane i bought - but definetely one of the best if not the best !
The Kit cost´s in Germany with German tax Euro 3700,- without the exhaust pipe and the Scale Nozzels, they will cost another Euro 350,-

@SNJ
What do you mean, sorry my english is not as good , so can´t understand your question !?

@Dave
Yeah that would be great, i try to do some kind ob build thread with a lot of pictures !!
Probably start this week !?
Dave go ahead with your twin - i definetely can recommend the kit quality. And Peter is a great guy to deal with[sm=thumbup.gif]

@Volkan
thats good, which F20 do you get ?

@Enrique
I think so too, she is pretty prefabricated !
Mine took about 4 weeks to deliver, i´m not sure about the waitlist - just give Peter a call or if you want i can ask him for you !?

Any questions ? Feel free to ask !!

Warm Regards

Thomas

Hi SJN !

Ok, now i understand. It just looks that way because the wood Blocks are not glued on perfectly symetrical - i just checked ! But the axis of the pivot tubes are perfectly alligned .

Congrats Thomas,

This is a fine bird that you'll love. Always respect speed, power and pitch attitude. Although not the original builder, there are several modifications which I have made to mine which proved to be very solid, I am not sure if they are now being included in the kits, but I would be more than happy to share them with you if you wish.

Good Luck and many happy flights to you!

Bryce

Hi Folks

As the Patrouille-Suisse flies the F-5 already since several years at events all over Europe,
see some pictures of the "small" Swiss PS Team, who flies the Liebetrau F-5 in the same great colors.

Thomas,
That thing is beutifull. In October 1996 I was on the observation deck of the Jungfrau when 2 of these came gliding silently past below me down the glasier all the way down turning right down into the valley. Man I wanted one then! It was awesome to see that shape in that beutifull setting.

Something would have to go terribly wrong if the Su wouldn´t be finished till then. It´s my first jet, so I will keep it on the simpler side. It looks to be an awful amount of work yet, but after the vertical stabs I´m working on at the moment, the basic airframe is completed. Then it´s up to gearing it up and taking care about the landing gear.
If I don´t get absolutely crazy on finishing her, she should fly in april, worst case may.
She must be kept simple, otherwise I´ll get a heart attack while flying her, even on maidening her[sm=bananahead.gif]

Hello Thomas,

I have not forgotten about you my friend, I have taken some pictures and will email these to you shortly. I am currently finishing the biggest upgrade to this jet to date, which is the installation of the Artes Rhino/Merlin turbine in the F-5. Time for a serious thrust increase, no more playing the energy/throttle management game, and best of all no more throttle lag! A few friends over right now just lounging and flying parkflyers out under the streetlights. I know I am not alone when I say "we are all anxious to meet all of you from around the world!" Its nice to have the internet these days and this forum to share thoughts, ideas and pictures. I will send you some of my recommendations soon.

Regards,

Bryce
