Does anybody know where I can get my hands on a A-7 Corsair and a B-1B Lancer RC Turbine Jet?

Jet Hangar Hobbies makes a small A-7. Haven't seen anything on a B-1B though.

There are currently no turbine B1-B kits on the market. There has been one individual in Belgium that built a 1/12th scale D/F version a couple of years ago and it flew well. There are a couple of us that are scratch building 1/12th scale B1's. Andy will probably kit his version because he is building a mold but mine will be only for my personal use. I have been working on mine almost two years and this should be the year I get it in the air.

A-6 Intruder and the A-10 Thunderbolt is there a RC Turbine kit for these? And the A-7 Corsair you provided me with looks a bit "compact" It looks a bit chubby and weird... Thanks for the reply though I wish I could find a better one, or If I was a master piece creator I would make 'em all

Re- A7, There is larger size kit produced in Germany, Iam not sure exactly who manufacturers the kit or if it is still available. If your interested I would suggest contacting Franz Walti directly for more info on A7 kit availability etc as he has a nice looking RTF A7 for sale listed on his website, go here and click on 'second hand'- http://www.Jettech.ch/e-eingang.html

Re- B1, Dean Lassek (A10FLYR) was working on a nice big one, just maybe Deano will chime in with a progress report if he see's this thread.

Cheers-

if your building that B-1 scale.......you'll need to build 2 of them. One for spare parts and one for airshows only.

I believe that the Century Jet Modls A-7 is the Werner Kranz airplane.

What size A-7 are you interested in?

That chubby and weird look is due to the aspect ratio of the photo..I have seen that one live on JHH's trade show table, and it looks absolutely awesome....how ever at 47" span, it is on the small size...

TurbineInhaler,

From what I can tell, The JHH A-7 is fairly close to scale except that maybe the airfoil has been thickened a bit. That airplane would probably be good tor the MW 44. Are you looking for something bigger?

Try JetMartUSA.com for the Intruder. It's a large one though. There are a couple of companies that make the A-10 the name Shipley comes to mind. I believe there is one for sale (or was one recently) here on RCU.

Before i go a bit further, What is the smallest and cheapest gas turbine Jet on the market right now? This is just off the topic for a moment... I just want to know something, like a trainer jet, for someone... if you answer this I will be satisfied :P

Wren MW 54 Kit available from JHH would br the least expensive turbine. (That WILL run very well) about 1700 US bucks.

As Terry suggested the Wren MW54 kit engine is a good choice for a first turbine and great value! add a PCM AV8R kit for $379 and for just over 2k your getting real close...

Actually the JHH A-7 is VERY scale including the airfoils.

Uh, Doug,

NOPE! ......Where did you get your information?

Based on information that I got from a guy who actually has a JHH Corsair II, the wing has been thickened. Which is a good thing...especially with the smaller models.

What about a complete plane kit? Small, or cheap, both or one of the options would do
