Gentlemen,
Before anyone goes flying off the handle thinking I am trying to copy someone's design, let me explain that I am not. What I am trying to find out is, is there a manufacturor out there that will sell wings that are similar to HotSpot, Roo, or Super Reaper. Foam wings that I could cover with obechi or balsa and design my own fuselage. I want to purchase GENERIC delta style foam wings. Does anyone know of supplier? I want to design and build a SR-71 lookalike that would take a single turbine in the central rear. I am building this for ME and not for profit. Of course I can/could build my own wings, but if there is a set out there that are easily adaptable to a fuselage designed by me that would mean less work for me.

Well, I have found a couple of sites on the net that could cut me a foam wing from whatever dimensions that I give. Instead, I am just going to kit-bash an Enforcer kit. I guess a Super Reaper could be kit-bashed in the same fashion. I have always thought that a P-80 sized SR-71 with a single central turbine would be cool. The turbine could be out in the open or enclosed in the fuselage. Either way would be cool in my opinion. One about this size would be perfect!

Yes, exactly. Well, perhaps not that big, but the idea is the same. I don't think the one that I will be making will look as scale as that one though. I have seen that picture before as well as other examples. I want to make one that is more sport-scale, though if it looks as good as that model then that's fine too. I was thinking something more HotSpot sized. Here are a couple of pictures that helped set off the idea.

Wayne,
you missed a Rookie in primer on Ebarf last going for 225.
you could have scavenged the wings and retracts sold the fins and fuse.
there are one or two places that cut foam cores for replacment wings to existing kits of will cut to your specifacation.
new wing panels for Roo/Rookie are available from Comp-ARF 225.00 each
