I just need to pick up a new supply of odorless glue...I am allergic to the regular stuff, I used too much of it!
I am looking forward to actually building it, as is it sort of balsa modelling at it's finest...the whole plane is computer generated, plans, laser cutting, the molds for the plastic parts...for a guy who has built a lot of Fifties Berkeley kits and stuff it should be a nice misadventure.
I also have the HB A-7 on the way, and I might do that one first. It's an ARF.
I will post pics of the DJ3...

What I find really SAD is the fact that, certain people are trying to make money off these engines when you know people are trying to get started in JETS. Where did you start when you only had a few bucks to get into the hobby.... TURBINES, I don't think so. Shame on you.

I really don't see what the big deal is....Top Gun Aircraft had/has lots of both version of this engine the WHOLE time this "boycott" of OS was going on. And now that the engine is just "temporarily unavailable" from Tower....TGA still has lots of engines! Probably cheaper than Tower too. So point your browser over to TGA and just buy one.....or two, then you will be set for quite a while, unless you ruin them.
BTW, if were gonna buy one from someone at an increased price because you thought they were not available new....thats your fault, not the person selling it. If you can't make a few more mouse clicks to see who had them, well.....you know what they say about a fool and their money....
sheesh

If you want to start a verbal war on this sight, start by putting my COUNTRY down. I know there is some really NICE people in this hobby, But peolple like you are like WATER they always find there own level. Think about that before you start making commits like you have.

Looks to me like the old sarcasm bug struck again. Before anyone goes flying off the handle (oops, too late for that) try reading all of the posts again. I read jest in every single comment which mentioned selling something for 2x or more than they cost new. Having read all of the threads about OS not producing fan engines anymore, I'm quite certain these folks were not on the prowl to sell off their engines to unsuspecting people in need of an engine.
Come on folks, lighten up.

Thanks John, I really enjoy this hobby and the people in it, it has been very educational and the pilots have always been very HELPFUL. So as far as I'm concerned I've said what I had to say.
