I recently purchased Kangaroo kit to become familiar with jet operations to obtain waiver. I am looking for information on flying it initially with prop engine. Any recommendations on what engine, prop, fuel tank set, and retracts would be appreciated. Thanks

I can't help you there but all of thi was covered here in the past. Try a search of this forum. I think you will find all of the information you need.
You may want to skip the whole prop thing and simply use a buddy cord until you are waivered.

having 3 roos....i think i can help
imho
1) if you can land a 40 size cap and grease the landings every time your ready for a jet
2) dont prop the roo
3) read all the threads about this plane as there are many nuances you need to know such as
a) cg
b) kangaroo hop...caused by touching down going to fast and she still wants to fly
c) dont put brakes on the down elevator
d) no plastic gear servos on the steering
hope this helps
