Default Avonds F15 Grills

Looking for any info including availability of the scale grills for the Avonds F15. I've emailed Avonds but have yet to get a reply. Any help appreciated.

Default Avonds F15 Grills

Hello, if you have contacted Philip at [email protected] he should be in touch with you. He's not always at home, waiting for our questions, but he also has his job as a SAR helicopter pilot. I've ordered mine and installed them, quiet tricky to do, but just be patiance and subtile with the amounts of cyano. I put a droplet of cyano on a piece of plastic and than used a small pin/needlde to put the glue on. The grill's should be in stock, good luck with them.

Gerald.

Default F-15 grills

Try and e-mail to Kevin Barr up in St. Paul, MN. He has his F-15 for sale on the sale/swap section, and you can find his info there, as well as some pictures of his grilles if you search for his older postings while building it--they are perfect.

Default Grills

As Gerald pointed out, If Mr. Avonds is around he will get back to you. I installed the grills on my current F-15 and I think they add a realistic dimension to the plane...

Default Last shot

These grills are well worth the effort to install.. I made a cutout where they should go, just slightly larger than the grills themselves. Lined the inside surface with poly ply that overhangs about 1/16". then set the grill in, glued , and filled with 3M Pirahna putty.

I will have my F-15 at Superman if you feel like taking a look at how I did it...

Just stop by the Minnesota groups tent and ask for me...

Kevin
