Default LA Jets, March 26 & 27

L.A. Jets is in 10 days... Who is going to be there. (march 26 and 27)

I found an abandoned Airworld L-39 in a barn somewhere and am currently dusting it of and replacing the Chinese servos... Hopefully the rightful owner will not show up and claim it.

Jorge R. is hopefully getting the eurotrash field hoe ready after she was molested by UPS on the way back from FJ05

Sung may have the new awesome Panther out there... This thing is going to be amazing.

Well,
After being total thrashed by my friends at ups, I have repaired the eurofiretrash and will have it ready for LA jets. Hopefully the Skymaster BAe Hawk will be ready as well.

Please make sure that you all bring ample Field Hoe for Johnny, Sung and I to fly.

C YA There!

George,

I've got the Panther, Baby Boomerang and possibly the JMP Hustler will be ready also. If you want I can bring along the Skymaster F-15 to throw around as well. I figure with my four your three, Joe's three or four and what not there should be plenty to fly. I would of brought out the Yellow F-15 and my Super Bandit if SOMEONE had not stepped on them[:@], oh well. See ya Saturday.

How many guys does it take to troubleshoot an ECU? How many can you name?

Wow, I saw some strange things yesterday. While spotting for John Christensen with his L-39, John tells me his throttle was stuck. We went through several shut down procedures trim up trim down sticks forward, sticks back, nonetheless, the engine kept running full throttle. John decided to put it in a hard bank and circle to keep the plane from gaining to much speed. eventually, the plane ran out of Kerosene and went dead stick.

The next incident was when John was flying his Turbine Helicopter. He had two flame outs and one was at the top of a loop.

Can't wait for today!

What turbine was John using in his L-39?

I'm surprised to read that he had trouble with it. I've been very happy with the Titan, performance, throttle response, start up, etc... are just perfect.

I was checking out an L-39 today and boy was it amazing looking. Didn't get to see it fly however.

I was there from about 9-10 and only saw 3 sport jets fly. I got one on video doing some pretty interesting flying. Here is the video, 5 1/2 minutes long and 13MB:
