This is a 1955 Berkeley T-33, was for free flight or monoline control, using an 049 and Berkeley's stamped metal fan.
I built this, heavily modified, for Kamdax 06 power. Fully sheeted and planked, tissue and nitrate substrate, Sig butyrate dope finish. It's going to be about 19 ounces RTF, went a little heavy on the paint, and I should not have used ANY kit wood, should have cut my own.

ET, I built one or two of the Berkley f-8 Crusader with a Midwest .049 DF For RC Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay back when. (1977 or78) Don't have any pictures handy but I still have the plane. Maybe I'll dig it out and take a pic or two. (tomorrow)

I have one, too! I have pics somewhere.
I got one already built at a swap meet, it was the real fifties deal for FF. Stripped it, sheeted it with 1/32, lost the dihedral, added anhedral, made tailerons, and installed the Kamdax. Got two flights on it last year, it flew indeed, but nose-heavy. Just waiting for better weather for more testing.
Find pics if you can!
Next up is the Berkeley F11F tiger. The fan will fit if I lose the shroud. The whole snout will come off for starting.
And I have a Midwest A-4 to do up, also...
