I am not totally sure about the specs for a standard day, but I believe it is around 1014 milibars of pressure and 58 degrees at sea level.

Well, I've been flying my P-180 on my KingCat at the local field (rcacf.com). WOW!
Talk about a hot rod! That engine is sweet! Great throttle response and extreme power.
I knew I could've gone a bit too fast, so I opted to install a speed limiter. Set it at 190mph (they always tend to go over), and the top speed recorded on the ECU was 196mph.
The KingCat at 196mph felt almost like a Bandit at 230+. It was unreal, I was covering ground and zipping up and down the field like a racer!
It's probably not ideal for most (in the KingCat), but a lot of fun!!

Just ran another 5 gallons through the Titan last night, that puts us up to 150 flights straight out of the box without a call to John Redman. I have no idea of the thrust numbers.....and dont really care. This thing has so much power, such great throttle response, and is so damn reliable....that I just go have a ball and wait for the timer to tell me when the ride is over. We were testing out the bomb drops last night on the SuperHornet and I would take off and make one circut then dropp the bombs on the runway...put the gear down and land full of fuel..re-attatch the bombs and blast off again. Landing a plane like this full of fuel can only be done comfortably with an engine that has great throttle response, and you know aint gonna quit.
Thanks to Bob Wilcox for bringing the Titan here for us to play with.
Having a blast,
Dave Presta

Joel, Yes it will fit. BVM is flying his SuperHornet with his own bypass, and the instructions were written by him for this modification and are included in the SuperHornet manual. The modification requires you to relieve the bottom of two bulkheads very slightly, and install a carbon fiber stiffner that will span the bulkheads to make up for any removed material. Let me know if you have any more questions.
Take care,
Dave

Hi Guys;
Just got back from the field with my BVM Rafale and the P180. By now I have more than 30 flights on this combination. The engine is awesome, the fuel consumption is excellent and the power... let me not say anymore. I fly for 8.5 minutes and still have 1/3 fuel in the main side tanks.
The throttle response is very good. It is installed in an olympus bypass. Thanks to John Redman for recommending this engine.
Let me know if anyone is interested in an AMT AT450 air start (with EDT, ASU and the eliminator).
