Default Electro magnetic interference kills ECU?

2 of my ECUs programming have gone haywire within a week. ( 1 jetcat p120 version 4 & 1 Gaspar fadec autostart ). After examination I have been advised that they have been exposed to a strong electromagnetic effect.
The only thing I can think of is, I use a power supply so I can use my field charger at home to charge my batteries. Would this be the reason for the ECUs being scrambled???
Anyone else experienced this problem with ECUs.
Any other reasons greatfully received.

Regards
Jim

Chris, I am going to the Nicosia site tomorrow. Was flying at ladies mile today, but it was very windy, could be as bad tomorrow. At least it is more sheltered at Kotsiatis.
I will be flying the Eurofighter.
The Boomerang is for sale, cheap.

See ya

Jim
